Heavy rain has fallen in the southern part of New Jersey as thunderstorms passed over the state.
Those rains brought flooding to areas like Toms River. Police had to rescue various motorists who became stuck in floodwaters.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says the storms should be mostly cleared out by the evening hours and temperatures should cool.
Friday should stay dry with a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures should be around 80 degrees.
Saturday should stay partly cloudy with temperatures in the mid-80s. Sunday is expected to be mostly cloudy with scattered rain.
