New Jersey is officially in a heat wave. Temperatures Tuesday hit 90 degrees in the state for a third day in a row.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says the high temperatures are expected to bring thunderstorms scattered across the state until the evening hours.
The humidity overnight is expected to go down, and temperatures should cool as well.
Wednesday is expected to be mostly sunny with temperatures potentially reaching the high 80s. Wednesday night should remain clear with temperatures cooling down.
Thursday should also see sunny skies with high temperatures in the upper 80s.
