Wé Ani has advanced to the top 5 on “American Idol.” The Paterson native wowed the judges with her version of Alanis Morissette’s Grammy-winning song “Uninvited.” Morissette filled in to judge and mentored Ani. “Idol” judges say this is one of the best they've seen on the show.
Cheap Trick is making two stops in the Garden State this month. Since their first album in 1977, the rock band has released several hits, including “I Want You to Wan Me,” “Surrender,” “Ghost Town” and more. They will hit the stage at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown on Wednesday, May 17 at 8 p.m. Cheap Trick will also perform at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City on Saturday, May 20 at 9 p.m.
