Cascading water flooded a Morrisania street Sunday after a fire hydrant pipe burst.
It happened at East 167th Street and the Rev. James A. Polite Avenue.
Officials blame a water main break. The Department of Environmental Protection shut down the hydrant and began pumping out the water spilling onto the street. Repair crews arrived right away.
No residents are without water.
