The sight of a bear in a tree caused a spectacle in a Morris County neighborhood.
Several Parsippany residents called News 12 New Jersey about the bear in the tree on Flemington Drive.
The bear cub hung out in the tree for several hours climbing up and down on the branches while neighbors took photos.
A Parsippany police officer stood by just to make sure that the bear didn’t get spooked by all the attention. But police said that the animal did not pose any threat.
After a few hours, the bear climbed down and went on its way.
