FORECAST:
After a weekend of hot weather with highs of 87 degrees, we continue to see the 80s again today and tomorrow. The sun is warm and the humidity lingers.
Things change on Wednesday morning with a passing weather front that will deliver a round of showers to the state for the morning commute. This will create wet conditions, slippery roads, and road ponding. The rain wraps up near noon, and cooler and breezy air replaces the warm and humid air.
Thursday & Friday will be gorgeous, cooler, breezy, and sunny. Temps will be in the 60s.
Saturday looks fair for now. The same front may produce a coastal storm over the SE coast early this weekend. It has potential to move northward toward NJ for Sunday/Monday, where it would produce lots of rain and wind for our area. This would be a moderate impact storm if it does happen. As of right now, it's new, and it's just a chance.
The forecast can change significantly, but it is something worth watching at this time.
