Wawa is holding a contest to win a year's supply of "Shorti" hoagies in response to the nationwide coin shortage.

All customers have to do to enter is exchange at least $5 worth of coins at a Wawa store.

Customers will also receive a free coffee, fountain soda, or ICEE for each $5 exchange. If customers trade in $50 of coins, they'll get a free Shorti hoagie.

The chain will give customers a raffle ticket number that they can enter on the store's website. The winner of the contest will be chosen when it ends Oct. 1, and they will receive a gift card that allows them to get hoagies throughout the year.
