A dispute over what one dog leaves behind has escalated in Detroit.

Brenda Mullins is tired of a dog "going" in her yard.

So she decided to pick up the feces, take it next door, and leave it on the front door handle.

"Dog came and messed in my yard,” says Mullins. “I picked it up. I took it, put it on her door now. You didn't want to clean it up here. You'll clean up there."

"It just shows that people don't know how to solve issues without doing some stupid,” says dog owner Michael Smith. “She could've easily just could've talked about it, you know, resolved it, or apologized, whatever."

Mullins says she probably took it a little too far, but says she had to prove a point.
