Police in Bayonne say an attempted kidnapping ended in a violent crash -- and it was all caught on camera.

The incident happened Wednesday.

According to police, an officer earlier saw a man attempting to drag another man, the 30-year-old victim, toward the rear passenger side of a black Audi.

Police say when the officer tried to investigate, the car drove away at a high rate of speed toward Kennedy Boulevard, before ultimately crashing into two cars.

A doorbell camera captured the moments when the speeding car tried to get away from police before crashing on Kennedy Boulevard. 

Three men in the car ran off but were later arrested. They have been identified as Angel Aristy, 23, Pedro Castillo, 19, and Rafael Vargas, 19, all of the Bronx.

The motive for the incident is unknown at this time. No firearm was recovered.
