In the evening where the rain has picked up. And so are those winds? But what is it going to look like waking up in the morning? Well, I mentioned that snow, right? It is going to change over briefly north and west, but will it stick? That is the issue. Uh, looks like it's going to be a little too warm for that. But you may see some of that snow in parts of Sussex County over into Warren and northern Morris and maybe even trying to sneak down towards interstate 78. But snow lovers don't get your hopes up. This is a mainly rain event for us and it's really the high gear right now. So the winds have picked up gusts now over the next few hours, 40 to 50 miles an hour. So it is nasty. It is messy outside. The rainfall rates are 1 to 2 inches an hour. We need to watch for flooding and of course, wet roadways by the time we get to the morning though, this will start to taper roads are going to be wet though and temperatures will be cooler for these are making a comeback. Temperatures are falling overnight into the morning and the 40 stick around through next week.
