Friends and family gathered outside Old Bridge High School tonight to host a candlelight vigil honoring the victims of a deadly shooting at an Old Bridge Pathmark earlier today.
Eighteen-year-old Cristina LoBrutto and 24-year-old Bryan Breen, both Old Bridge High School graduates, were working the night shift together at Pathmark. That's when the suspected gunman, 23-year-old Terence Tyler, opened fire killing LoBrutto and Breen, before fatally shooting himself.
Bruce Kaplan, the Middlesex County prosecutor, confirmed that 23-year-old Terence Tyler had worked at the Pathmark just a couple of weeks.
Old Bridge Mayor Owen Henry said Tyler left the store this morning, then returned shortly afterward dressed in camouflage and toting more than one weapon.
