2nd suspect in Verona burglary arrested in Pennsylvania

Police say a second suspect was arrested in connection to a home burglary that happened last month in Verona.
They say 31-year-old Hamid Travis, of Newark, was taken into custody in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He was remanded to Lackawanna County Jail where he will be transported back to Essex County Correctional Facility.
The burglary happened on Jan. 5 at a home on Wayland Drive. The suspects are accused of kicking in a side door and ransacking the home.
Travis will be arraigned on charges that include burglary, theft, conspiracy and fencing.
Christopher Lassiter was arrested last month for his connection to the home burglary. He was charged with burglary and theft.
