Police say a Newark man was arrested on Wednesday for his connection to a home burglary in Verona.

Christopher Lassiter kicked in a side door of a home in the Wayland Drive section of the town on Jan. 5, according to police. Lassiter ransacked the home and took numerous items.

Lassiter was charged with burglary and theft.
