Bronx residents say they are furious after finding the tires slashed on about 25 cars on De Reimer Avenue Monday morning.
Neighbors say vandals came through De Reimer Avenue Saturday night, slashing anywhere from two to four tires per car.
Many residents are directing the blame toward a local tire shop. They say they don?t believe this was a childish prank, but instead a scam.
Louis Ronzon, owner of the neighborhood tire store, says the incident has nothing to do with his business. ?They have a lot of kids? gangs around here so they can not really accuse me. There is no proof.?
