A 50-year-old Paterson woman died after being struck by a vehicle Friday evening, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office.
The woman was hit around 7 p.m. in the area of Madison and Sixth avenues in Paterson.
She was taken to St. Joseph's University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, authorities said.
The driver remained at the scene.
The collision remains under investigation.
