Union County clerk representatives held a resource fair in Rahway Tuesday to help residents who need help in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Ida.
The representatives teamed up with non-profit partners to meet the community's needs.
"A lot of people have lost their residence, a lot of people need food, they need assistance with medical care. They might need clothes," said Jessica Cohen, Union County chief of staff. "So, our mission is really just to connect residents with Union County and the services that we offer, but also let the residents of Union County know that they're not alone."
Union County will continue to hold resource fairs for residents.
The pop-up events will be announced on ucnj.org.
