Two roaming goats got a ride in the back of a police cruiser after they were found wandering through Pohatcong Township.
Police said the goats were found near the intersection of Still Valley Road and Municipal Drive.
The goats were turned over to an animal control officer while police searched for their owner.
Police later said the owner had been located and the goats were reunited with them.
It was not immediately clear how the goats got loose.
