A new café in Ocean County is giving visitors a chance to enjoy a cup of coffee while spending time with rescued rabbits.

At Bunny Haven Cafe, guests can book a 45-minute session and interact with a variety of bunnies.

While the experience is designed to be fun and memorable, the café's mission is focused on finding homes for rescue rabbits.

"All of these bunnies are actually Kind Heart Rescue bunnies who are waiting for their adoptive homes," organizers said.

The rabbits come from a variety of backgrounds, including neglect cases, hoarding situations and homes where owners could no longer care for them.

"Regardless of those backstories, this is their soft place to land," organizers said.

The hope is that visitors who spend time with the rabbits will consider adoption and gain a new appreciation for the animals.

Weekday sessions start at $25.
