It's a day millions of shoppers have been anticipating for months - and the wait is almost over.
But before you head out in search of your next high tech gadget or appliance on Black Friday - there are some things to keep in mind.
News 12's Tara Rosenblum spoke with Consumer Reports to get tips on how to seek out the best doorbuster deals.
"Deals that you see that people used to line up at 4 a.m. for, you can get those online now as well and sometimes even earlier than you can get them in stores," says Samantha Gordon, with Consumer Reports.

During the first two years of the pandemic, many shoppers searched for bargains from home instead of in-person, but analysts predict the crowds will return this year in full force. Just don't expect to find greater bargains at the stores.
"It really doesn't matter anymore. It's it's all about personal preference. The prices tend to be the same," Gordon says.
Gordon says one way you can get savvy during crunch time, is to keep an eye on what you're interested in, even before the sales begin so when they do, you know how much you're actually saving.
"Retailers are able to change the prices that they display on their website and in their stores to whatever they want at any point. So it can look like you're saving a lot more than you actually are. So if an item that usually costs $100, but originally sold for $200 and they're putting it on sale for say $75 you look like you're saving $125 but really you're only saving about $25," Gordon says.
When you're in the store, Gordon says trying using apps like Buyvia, Shopkick and Shopular which allow you to scan QR Codes on items you want to purchase. You'll get cost comparisons and even coupons!
You can also sign up for Black Friday shopping alerts for your favorite retailers, and follow their social media feeds leading up to the big day. A lot of retailers are offering special discounts this year for shoppers who like or follow their pages.
And be sure you don't forget about all the loyalty programs.
"They give you benefits like free shipping, free returns longer return windows. There are a lot of benefits for sure," Gordon says.
Analysts say Black Friday is still the best time of the year to snag great deals.
