A trial date has been set for the 17-year-old accused in the fatal shooting of a young Bronx boy.
Rondell Pinkerton is charged with murder in the 2012 death of 4-year-old Lloyd Morgan at the Forest Houses. Police say Pinkerton had exchanged gunfire with two others, identified as Courtney Kelly and Ronald Jeffrey.
Pinkerton and Jeffery will both stand trial starting Sept. 30 for murder, attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
The shootout also wounded two others, including Kelly.
