The murder trial for the man accused of killing a Stamford man outside a Bridgeport restaurant in 2017 started Tuesday.
According to police, Shardel Ragin waited for 33-year-old Max Antoine in his car outside Tiago's and fired his gun at him and another man.
Antoine's older brother, Wilner Joseph, took the stand Tuesday.
"It was hard, it was hard to see and reveal what I went through in 2017 April 20, just looking at my brother laying there just deceased. It was hard," says Joseph.
The attorney for Ragin rejected an offer that would have imprisoned him for 40 years in connection with the homicide.
Ragin instead offered to accept a 12-year sentence, which the state rejected.
