Macy's is partnering with Toys “R” Us to put the toy
retailer in 400 Macy's stores by the end of next year, and the one in the Ocean County
Mall is already open.
According to TomsRiver.org, Geoffrey, the iconic giraffe, greets
customers as they enter the Toys “R” Us portion of the department.
It was announced in August that the two brands would be joining forces.
The company filed
for bankruptcy and closed all its stores three years ago. The toy company was once
headquartered in Parsippany-Troy Hills.
