A woman and two small children were discovered stabbed in their home Saturday morning.
Police found the victims on the second floor of a three-family home on Redmond Street. Neighbors said the victims were a mother and her two children.
Shortly after police arrived, they contacted EMS paramedics who brought the three victims to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital.
Neighbors reacted with fear and horror. Belkis Peralta said the incident is an example of how the neighborhood is becoming more violent.
The condition of the victims is unknown.
Police say Heron Garcia-Nicola, 26, attacked his 30-year-old sister and her two young children, a 4-month-old boy and a 3-year-old girl.They say he stabbed and slashed them in the face.
