Many school districts across New Jersey since the start of the school year have been forced to make the shift back to virtual learning, leaving many parents stuck in limbo.

Gov. Phil Murphy spoke about the situation Tuesday on News 12’s Ask Governor Murphy.
"I have enormous sympathy with parents and kids and educators, and everybody associated with this because this has not been easy,” says Gov. Murphy. “That's the understatement of the century probably. For the past 18 or 19 months, this has been two steps forward, one step backward."

Murphy says his administration will continue to work alongside districts as the year goes on.
