Many school districts across New Jersey since the start of the school
year have been forced to make the shift back to virtual learning, leaving many
parents stuck in limbo.
"I have enormous sympathy with parents and kids and educators, and
everybody associated with this because this has not been easy,” says Gov. Murphy.
“That's the understatement of the century probably. For the past 18 or 19
months, this has been two steps forward, one step backward."
The governor says so far, what he's seen with back
to school has been about what the state expected.
Murphy says his administration will continue to work alongside districts
as the year goes on.
