Third person dies in deadly Freehold crash
A third person has died from injuries suffered in a deadly crash in Freehold last week that already claimed the life of a priest and his sister.
The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office says that Antoinette Gallina, 85, died this past weekend from injuries she suffered in the June 4 crash.
Father Michael Guglielmelli, 81, and Dolores Guglielmelli, 87 were also killed in the crash.
Officials say the victims were riding in a Dodge Caravan that was stopped on Route 537 when it was struck from behind by a Honda Ridgeline driven by a 19-year-old Freehold resident.
A fourth passenger in the Caravan remains in the hospital.
The driver of the Caravan, as well as the 19-year-old, suffered minor injuries and have been released from the hospital.
No charges have been filed at this time, according to officials.
