Things are expected to really heat up in New Jersey over the next few days.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says that the Garden State has the potential for a heat wave – that is three consecutive days of temperatures 90 degrees or above.
TODAY: Mostly clear skies with warm temperatures. Daytime highs around 96 degrees. Overnight lows around 93.
THURSDAY: Mix of sun and clouds with the chance for some rain. Daytime highs around 94. Overnight lows around 76.
FRIDAY: Potential for some storms. Daytime highs around 89. Overnight lows around 76.
WEEKEND: Potential for cloudy skies and stormy weather. Saturday expected to see highs around 90 degrees. Sunday expected to see highs around 91.
