Three people are facing charges in a shooting scare at the Quality Inn in Wayne.
Police say it happened around 1:30 p.m. on July 20, when officers responded to a report of a man with a fanny pack threatening to shoot people.
A man and woman were found at the scene, and the man was carrying a fanny pack. But the caller then pointed out the actual suspect was hiding behind nearby bushes.
Police say they found a 13-year-old boy and recovered a black fanny pack described by the caller.
Jeremy Abanto Randiche, of Paterson, was arrested and charged along with a 21-year-old woman. The teen, also from Paterson, was charged on a juvenile complaint.
