An Uber Eats driver has been accused of assaulting a Secaucus police officer with a glass vase and metal bike lock.

Police say they were called to the scene of an argument between a man and a female Uber Eats delivery worker around 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The woman resisted as they attempted to arrest her inside a TD Bank. She then began to attack the officer with the objects.

The officer was hospitalized and treated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
