A teenager charged with murder in connection with the fatal shooting of a worker outside a Clifton business will be in court Tuesday.
The 17-year-old is accused of shooting Leandro Mendoza Friday outside a liquor store.
Police say Mendoza and another store employee were closing the business for the night when they were approached by a masked gunman who opened fire on them.
Mendoza was fatally wounded while the other employee sustained minor injuries. Neighbors say Mendoza and his family took over operating the liquor store several months ago.
No word on a motive for the shooting.
