A heat advisory will be in effect over the next few days in part of New Jersey as the state preps for a possible heat wave.

Temperatures inland will be in the 90s and it will feel even warmer with the humidity.

There will also be the chance for pop-up thunderstorms over the next few days, so people need to be ready to get off the beach if they see lightning.
