One can't really complain about the temperatures this autumn season.
Overall, September/October and now the first 10 days of November have averaged above normal.
We have had some chilly moments, but it looks like this week we get a sustained push of unusually cooler air for the season moving through. Coupled with the wind (which we have certain had enough of this fall), and now it feels much colder.
Morning lows will be in the mid to upper 20’s and low 30’s. Daily high temperatures on Tuesday will only be in the upper 30’s and low to mid 40’s.
That is a forecast we would expect for mid to late December.
It's cold, and it will be uncomfortable if you are not prepared for the chill waiting for the bus or train in the morning. It will NOT be the type of cold that could burst pipes - just a little appetizer of winter weather.
Most of the week will remain slightly below the norm.
