Here’s what you need to know:
  • It's mostly clear, frigid and windy this morning. Temperatures are in the low to mid-20s. Wind chills are in the single digits to low teens.
  • Today will be very cold and windy again with a blend of sun and clouds. Highs are in the low to mid 30s. Wind chills in the teens and low 20s with gusts over 30 mph.
  • The winds pull back on Thursday, but it will stay cold. There's a chance of a few flurries on Thursday, but it's not expected to accumulate to anything. Temperatures recover Friday into the weekend with highs in the 40s.
  • A weak storm system will bring light on/off rain Saturday afternoon through the evening. Sunday will be cloudy and cold with a chance of rain, wintry mix/ light snow during the evening into early Monday. The track can shift south keeping us dry and mainly cloudy or push North and bring minor accumulations. Stay tuned for more details.
  • The coldest air so far this winter sweeps across the city by the middle of next week. Extremely cold weather is looking more likely with highs in the 20s and lows in the teens. Wind chills will range from the single digits to below zero.
