Parts of the state saw some serious flooding due to heavy rain Friday.
Officials say 3 to 4 inches of rain fell overnight into the morning.
Route 71 in Deal was shut down due to the heavy flooding.
To avoid road closures, officials say to take Route 35.
Other parts of Monmouth County, such as Spring Lake Heights, also experienced flooding.
Rain is expected clear up completely by the mid-morning, but News 12 meteorologists say heavy winds will pick up during the day with wind speeds around 30 mph.
There were flash flood warnings issued earlier Friday morning.
