More than 1,000 New Jersey residents got together this weekend to celebrate some of the Garden State’s icons.

Sunday was the 18th annual New Jersey Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the American Dream Megamall.

Danny DeVito hosted the event. He also learned that Nov. 17 will be known as “Danny DeVito Day.”

But DeVito was not the only New Jersey icon honored at the event. Sza, a Grammy-nominated artist from Maplewood, also made the Hall of Fame.

Former NFL player Lawrence Taylor also made the cut. He is one of the best defensive players in NFL history. Taylor played for the New York Giants for 13 seasons and won two Super Bowls.
