A Robbinsville native killed after getting into a car she thought was her Uber has earned a posthumous degree from the University of South Carolina.
The degree was accepted by 21-year-old Samantha Josephson's parents at the college's graduation ceremony.
Police say Nathaniel Rowland, the driver of the wrong vehicle, kidnapped and killed her, then dumped her body.
Josephson had dreams of attending law school and had asked her Spanish instructor for a letter of recommendation.
