New Jersey has the potential to see dangerous and damaging storms Saturday evening.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says that strong winds seem to be the biggest threat.
OVERNIGHT: Overcast, with areas of patchy fog. Overnight lows around 53 degrees.
SATURDAY: Day starts off cloudy, but dry. Daytime highs in the 60s and 70s. The weather stays nice until the afternoon. Storms begin to pop up around 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. More organized storms will last between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Strong wind gusts are expected to be the biggest threat. Flash flooding, hail and tornados are also a possibility. Overnight lows will cool to around 53 degrees.
SUNDAY: Weather improves. Mostly cloudy, but dry. Daytime highs around 66 degrees. Overnight lows around 53.
MONDAY: Mix of sun and clouds. Daytime highs around 63 degrees. Overnight lows cool to around 46.
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny skies. Daytime highs around 64. Overnight lows cool to the low-40s.
