HEADLINES:
The total lunar eclipse happens overnight! Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy, but we should be able to get some viewing, especially along the North Shore and in Nassau County. It will be chilly with lows near 38 degrees.
The full blood worm moon total lunar eclipse begins at 11:57 p.m. with the total eclipse from 2:26 a.m. to 3:31 a.m. The eclipse will end by 6 a.m. Please tag us if you get any photos!
A nice finish to the week, with sun and clouds. Highs will be in the low 50s.
This weekend will be mild, with mostly cloudy skies on Saturday and rain arriving late Sunday evening.
By Sunday highs will be near 60 degrees, with gusty south winds. Expect rain overnight and it may be heavy at times, ending around the Monday morning commute.
Next week will be quite nice, with a spring feel and daytime highs in the 50s.
