A Winter weather advisory is in effect with accumulating snow and ice in the forecast this weekend. More snow chances are also in the forecast for next week.

The weekend starts dry with increasing clouds through the day Saturday. Snow arrives in the evening by 7 p.m., with snow becoming steady and possibly heavy by 9 p.m.
Expect heavy snow through midnight to 1 a.m. with snow showers and a wintry mix into Sunday morning. A total of 3 to 6 inches of snow are expected by Sunday morning. Be prepared for slippery travel Saturday night and Sunday morning.
We get a break from stormy weather on Monday. There will be sunshine before the next winter storm. The chance for accumulating snow arrives Tuesday into Wednesday. Unsettled weather could persist into the following weekend. FORECAST: OVERNIGHT: Partly cloudy and breezy early. Lows near 24 degrees. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph. SATURDAY: Partly sunny with snow developing by the evening. Highs near 35. Heavy snow at night between 9 p.m. and 12 a.m. Snow showers and a wintry mix follow into Sunday morning.
