Strong wind returns Friday, additional power outages possible

WIND ALERT: Strong gusts between 30-50 mph cross New Jersey today

Scattered power outages, crosswinds on bridges, and a chilly feel span across the state.

ALERTS:
There is a WIND ADVISORY in effect for all of NJ today as gusts reach near 30-50 mph.
There is a COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY in effect for Ocean County this morning as lingering minor flooding takes place during this high tide cycle. The future high tides today are not expected to be problematic.
FORECAST:
The windy weather is rough today, making the air feel cooler and disrupting outdoor decorations for Halloween. There could be some scattered power outages as well as a result of the strong gusts.
Tree branches and even weak trees may fall in some areas. Leaves and dust will swirl as well.
Winds will be sustained from the west-northwest at 15-25 mph with gusts near 30-50 mph.
It will begin to calm overnight with a chilly start for tomorrow.
There will be partly sunny conditions through the weekend with pleasant high temperatures in the lower 60s if not the upper 50s. Both Saturday and Sunday are carbon copy days.
Next week's weather isn't problematic, but there will be a lot of clouds passing with some sunny moments. A round of showers is possible on Monday overnight into Tuesday morning.
