The atmospheric excitement of earlier today has passed. Numerous tornado warnings were issued, but as of this weather report, there have been no serious reports of damage in the warned areas.
Wednesday will start off dreary. But as the day wears on, the sky will yield more and more sun. Daytime high temperatures will climb to the mid- to upper 70s. Clouds will again reappear in our skies Wednesday night and passing storms will be in the forecast for Thursday.
A more consistent, nuisance rain develops Friday for the last time this week.
The weather payoff is the weekend. Saturday's sky will feature sun and clouds. Temperatures will be slightly cooler than the seasonal average, but it will still be a very nice day.
Mother's Day on Sunday is a homerun. Nothing but sunshine and warmer weather wins out. Look for highs to peak in the upper 70s to lower 80s for moms across the state.
