Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says Saturday will dry out from the soaking rain with sunshine expected in the afternoon.
TONIGHT: The weather slowly starts to improve. The bulk of rain stays offshore. However, there will be a few renegade showers around lasting through Saturday morning.
SATURDAY: Early clouds and possible lingering showers give way to sunshine. Highs are still below average in the mid 60s. If you live in a flood-prone area along one of New Jersey's riverbanks, then keep an eye on water levels. Minor flooding is expected through Sunday.
SUNDAY: The start of October. Sunny and 80.
