WHAT TO KNOW:
- A great looking afternoon with sunny skies and highs in the upper 50s.
- Cloudy weekend. Sprinkles Saturday, storms Sunday evening with wind.
- Warm start to next week, cool down at the end of the week.
It's a cloudy start to our Friday morning, but the afternoon will be gorgeous. Expect mainly sunny skies with high temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. A light breeze from the east will keep communities on the shore a bit cooler, near 50 degrees. Clouds build back tonight with patchy fog and a stray sprinkle possible, especially after midnight.
The Weekend
It's warm and cloudy for most of the weekend. A few sprinkles are possible on Saturday with thick clouds, but temperatures will still likely rise into the mid and upper 50s for most of the afternoon. Sunday potentially looks very warm & it will be dry in the morning. Gusty wind arrives Sunday afternoon with a line of downpours (and perhaps a few thunderstorms Sunday evening. A few storms could produce heavy rain and damaging wind in the evening. High temperatures on Sunday will reach the mid to upper 60s.
Next Week
Monday clears out by the afternoon with pleasant temperatures for Saint Patrick's Day. Tuesday and Wednesday look fantastic with high temperatures well above average and plenty of sunshine. A chance for showers returns next Thursday, and then a blast of cold and windy weather finishes off the work week. Morning temperatures could drop below freezing by next Saturday. That's not unusual for mid-March, but it's cooler than we've been!
