News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says it will
be a quiet Sunday with sun and clouds and temperatures in the upper-40s.
Another storm could have more impacts on the entire
tri-state area.
MONDAY: Starts as rain with some higher elevation snow. Areas that picked up a decent amount of wet
slush snow on Saturday may see the similar impacts. Very rainy through Monday
night, winds are out of the east and bring in milder marine air.
There most likely will be a changeover to wet snow early on
Tuesday. Northern New Jersey may see
more of that wet snow. Winds shift to
the N-NW and pull down colder, drier air.
Uncertainty as to how much snow develops and how far south
it goes Tuesday. There will be tidal flooding along the coast and back bays. Winds
stay strong and gusty into Wednesday.
