Best Buy is allowing shoppers into only about half its stores nationwide, and by appointment only.
The company is also keeping its curbside pickup service. Customers can call in or schedule appointments online.
At their appointment, consumers will shop alongside a Best Buy associate, who will wear a mask and gloves and follow social distancing guidelines.

If the customer is interested in demoing a product, the employee will disinfect the product first and after. If the customer decides to buy an item, they will be taken to the front registers, where workers will follow social distancing guidelines and protect the worker and customer with a sneeze guard. The machine and screen will be wiped if using a credit card before and after each use.
Nordstrom and Macy's will close some fitting rooms and temporarily quarantine items that have been tried on. Gap is planning to completely close fitting rooms, and Kohl's will place signage and floor decals to encourage social distancing.
In reopened stores, Macy's plans to place hand-sanitizer stations in high-traffic areas, install plexiglass shields at registers, close some fitting rooms and frequently sanitize those that remain open.
Kohl’s plans to close fitting rooms and ban the use of beauty testers, and shift operating hours to 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily., among other changes.
