State police say a man
alleges he was shot while driving on
Interstate 295 in Bellmawr Borough, and they are seeking the public's
assistance.
The shooting happened
Sunday between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
while the victim was driving on Interstate 295 northbound between exits 28 and
29.
According
to state police, troopers responded to a hospital where they met with a 42-year-old man who sustained
a gunshot wound to his hand.
A preliminary investigation
reveals an unidentified suspect fired multiple shots from a dark-colored sedan
into a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by the victim.
The suspect continued traveling northbound and drove away from the
scene. The victim was unable to provide a license plate number.
