The State Commission of Investigation released a report today on the probe into mismanagement, questionable hiring practices and other administrative problems at the Schools Development Authority during the tenure of former Chief Executive Officer Lizette Delgado‐Polanco.
Lizette Delgado-Polanco ran the New Jersey Schools Development Authority until April of last year.
The group led construction projects in some of the state's poorest districts. The commission found Delgado-Polanco was often in touch with members of the Murphy administration by phone or text.
The commission found human resource violations, and among them -- some of the people Delgado-Polanco hired were unqualified for their jobs.
The commission overall alleges Delgado-Polanco was a "woefully inexperienced CEO."
