Aaron Van Trease, a senior playing quarterback and safety for the Lancers squad, suffered an apparent spinal cord injury on the third play of the game.

He underwent surgery on Saturday, although his current condition is unknown.
St. John Vianney went on to win its Friday game against Manasquan after Van Trease's injury.
