Several businesses in Springfield are paying it forward with Post-its -- people go into businesses and donate money.
The amount is written on Post-it notes and those in need can pick a Post-it and use it to make a food purchase.
"The idea is, in these times of the COVID virus, a lot of residents are out of work, have families, we've lost senior citizens in town,” says organizer Toni Meyer-Graziano. “They just need a little push here and there, and just show a little love to the town. Springfield helping Springfield. It's a two-fold. It's helps the residents, you know, a little bit, and it helps the business owners in town."
Bagel Supreme, Toms Pizza and Halo Roasters are participating, so far.
