Rep. Bill Pascrell checked himself into St. Joseph’s Medical Center Sunday night because he was running a fever, according to a spokesperson.

Pascrell Chief of Staff Benjamin Rich said that the 87-year-old congressman is “in good spirits today and awaiting test results and appreciates all well wishes. He also told us he is actively looking for a beer if anyone can help.”

Pascrell has been in Congress since 1997 and recently won his primary for reelection.
