Sparta police helped deliver a baby roadside during the winter storm earlier this week.
Authorities say Tyler and Stephanie had to pull over to the side of a road for the birth. Officer Christopher Botta assisted in the delivery of their daughter.
Stephanie and her new baby were taken to Morristown Medical Center.
Botta says he hopes the family will visit the police station in the future.
