A South Jersey man was arrested in Washington, D.C., after police say he had explosives while camping on the steps of a busy church.
Officers say 41-year-old Louis Geri from Vineland was taken into custody at St. Matthew's Cathedral, where he had set up a tent and refused to leave.
Police say Geri had previously been banned from the church, which was hosting its annual Red Mass to mark the start of the Supreme Court term.
No justices were in attendance at Sunday's service. Geri is facing several charges.
